Kemptville Forrest is a character in the Canadian Boys in-universe docudrama TV series A Nova Scotian Way of Life. He is the father of Kentville.

Biology[]

Kemptville is a man aged over 60 of White English and one-eighth Scottish Canadian heritage. He has dark brown hair and dark sienna eyes. Kentville is his son.

Personality[]

Kemptville is rather frail, both physically and emotionally. He can severely fracture a bone from the tiniest slip, and cry at the smallest upsetting thing. He can spend weeks or months recovering from a minor accident, requiring almost constant care. He is on good terms with James River, often calling him “boy” (possibly because James River is much younger than him, so he sees him like a son figure). He usually tends to call people under his age “boy” (or “girl”, if he’s talking to a female).

Quotes[]

  • "Oh, woe is me!"
  • "Oh, poor me!"
  • "Oh, woe betide me."
  • (after a long crying fit) “I’m such a softie, aren’t I?”
  • (often to James River) “The boy’s right."
